** JOB SUMMARY:**
The Retail Production Coordinator (Cut & Sew) is responsible for order processing, which involves entering orders into the company's ERP system, procuring the necessary components to fulfill retail orders, collaborating with the AP team, and working with the Retail sales team to ensure prompt and efficient order fulfillment.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
In a fast-paced and growing environment like ours, priorities and projects often change so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Order Processing & Procurement:
- Enter purchase orders (POs) and sales orders (SOs) into Microsoft Dynamics Navision and coordinate with overseas cut & sew vendors.
- Maintain and update the Production WIP/tracker with all essential information related to retail accessories, cut & sew programs, and other relevant initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate purchase, logging, tracking, and confirmation of order components at the factory level (e.g., hang tags, size strips, price tags).
Pre-Production & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Pre-Production Cut & Sew team to confirm accurate factory costs and allocations before order processing.
- Work closely with the Production Manager to oversee the timely delivery of production orders to customers by managing pickups and deliveries locally and internationally.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including carton labels and packing lists, and coordinate delivery appointments with third-party logistics providers when needed.
Accounting & Reconciliation:
- Support month-end accounting procedures, including PO receipt processing in the ERP system, clearing maintenance repair and operations (MRO) entries, and transferring scraps to designated locations.
- Work with the Accounting Department to facilitate financial transactions, including delivery notes, credit memos, and vendor payments.
Process Optimization & Reporting:
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in order processing.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of shipping records for the Retail Sales team, aiding in invoicing and order fulfillment.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data entry, purchasing, or supply chain coordination. Must have high level accuracy in data entry.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
- Critical Problem Solver: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Microsoft Dynamics/ Business Central (preferred).
- Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day.
- Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
