Position Overview: OneNest seeks an experienced RFID Technology Engineer to join our Enterprise Healthcare & Government Solutions division. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a confidential, high-impact project that requires innovative RFID technologies to address complex challenges. Due to the project's sensitive nature, candidates must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before an interview is scheduled.
We seek an expert in RFID systems with a track record of delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and integrating RFID technologies in enterprise settings and demonstrate exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop an advanced RFID solution tailored for enterprise and healthcare needs.
- Translate project requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Select and integrate RFID hardware (tags, readers, antennas) optimized for the project environment.
- Develop software systems for seamless RFID data processing, management, and reporting.
- Conduct rigorous testing of RFID systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability under diverse conditions.
- Identify and address system challenges, refining components to meet project goals.
- Design systems compliant with relevant regulations and standards, including data privacy and security frameworks.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, hardware engineers, and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including system designs, technical reports, and user manuals.
- Communicate technical updates and project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in RFID systems engineering and implementation.
- Proven success in delivering enterprise-level RFID solutions for high-stakes environments.
- Proficiency in RFID protocols and standards (e.g., EPC Gen2, ISO 15693, ISO 14443).
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C++), and familiarity with IoT frameworks and real-time location systems (RTLS).
- Experience with integrating RFID into enterprise systems such as ERP, EHR, or EMR platforms.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy standards, including HIPAA and other compliance frameworks.
Job Type : Contractor - On a consultant basis.
Pay: $45-$60/hr
