  • Responsibilities

    Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe. Originally focused on the underground coal mining industry, Matrix has expanded into new industrial markets in the United States and globally.

    We are currently seeking an intern with the RMA department. We are looking for an intern who will support the functions of the RMA department. They will work with the entire RMA department. They must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. The responsibilities will also include working on different software packages including NetSuite and Microsoft Office.

    This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.

    This position reports to the Customer Success Manager.

    This is a paid internship.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Moving finished goods from manufacturing and warehouse for processing

    • Scanning and attaching supporting documents to RMAs

    • Delivering FedEx shipping to the warehouse

    • Building finished goods boxes for products to be shipped in

    • Assisting in the shipping and receiving process

    • Assisting Repair Techs with non-technical duties

    • Assisting Clerks in general office tasks

    Qualifications & Competencies

    • Ability to accurately enter data into software programs

    • Organized

    • Basic clerical skills

    • Strong customer service skills

    • Ability to work alone as well as within a small team effectively

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program.

    Working Conditions

    Most of the work is done in a climate-controlled environment. There will be times where it is necessary to work in an environment where the climate is mostly climate-controlled.

    Physical Requirements

    The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, or crouch. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
