Starting Pay Rate: $18-22 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with construction and warehouse experience to fill the role of RMA Warehouse Associate. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and handle returned products efficiently. This role offers growth opportunities and involves physical work, critical thinking, and strong teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Processing:
Receive, inspect, and process returned merchandise according to established procedures.
Accurately document and record information related to returned items.
Collaborate with various departments to resolve return-related issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
Use scanning technology and basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Evaluate and meet performance metrics for RMA efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Properly package and label returned items for restocking or disposal, adhering to company standards.
Grow into additional projects beyond RMA processing and contribute to warehouse process improvements.
Construction and Tool Utilization:
Apply construction experience to evaluate the condition of returned merchandise, identifying any repairs or adjustments needed.
Use hand and power tools to make minor repairs or modifications to returned items when necessary.
Apply knowledge of construction techniques and safety practices to ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and safely.
Utilize construction tools and equipment to assist with the organization and storage of returned merchandise.
Physical Work:
Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise.
Safely and efficiently operate a forklift; prior experience is preferred.
Construction work.
Critical Thinking:
Use critical thinking skills to assess and determine the disposition of returned items.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to returned merchandise and processing.
Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Previous warehouse and construction experience (1-2 years) preferred.
Forklift operation experience required.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Capable of working with limited supervision.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Construction experience and tool usage knowledge highly valued.
Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.
