ACI Federal seeking Pediatric Travel RN's
Job Summary
As a Pediatric Travel Nurse, you will play a critical role in caring for children from newborns to adolescents. This position requires flexibility and adaptability as you will be assigned to work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide medical care, administer medications, monitor patient progress and educate parents and families about their child's health. We are looking for someone with empathy, patience and communication skills to explain to patients and parents about treatment plans and diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide care for patients in diverse settings such as medical-surgical units, operating rooms (OR), and critical care environments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Perform necessary procedures such as phlebotomy and airway management when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Support patients with special needs, including toddler care and behavioral health considerations.
