Today we are hiring a RN, Director of Emergency Services for our client in Sanford,NC. Our client will be offering a sign on bonus with a Commitment Incentive of $10,000 paid out quarterly in the first year of employment and a full relocation package if needed.
Salary: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00
The Director of Emergency Services organizes, directs, and supervises the functions of clinical and procedural units within the Emergency Department.
This includes policy and procedures are followed; safe staffing levels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput is managed.
-Develops, implements, and manages the department budget.
-Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement, invests in lifelong learning for staff professional development and assures employees complete required annual competencies.
-Maintains own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure.
-Communicates important information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as needed.
Must-Haves as as follows:
-Bachelor’s degree of Nursing (BSN) is required
-Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)
-American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required
-Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience (Manager role or above) in the Emergency Department, within the last five years required.
Nice-To-Haves are as follows:
-Master's degree (MSN, MHA, etc.) is preferred
-Experience working in a community hospital Emergency Department is preferred
