Job Summary
Looking for a motivated registered nurse who makes nursing diagnosis of the medical and emotional status of patients and recommends treatment options. Consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for clients. Administers and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications.
Responsibilities
Gauging patients' psychiatric states.
Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.
Administering psychotropic and similar medications.
Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.
Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.
Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.
Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families
Qualifications and Requirements
Washington State RN License
AHA BLS/ Behavioral health experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
BLS
