About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Bowery Residents' Committee, Inc. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that all patients receive the highest quality care. You will be expected to lead by example, providing guidance and support to your team while maintaining a professional and respectful work environment. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care and that the nursing staff is able to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.

As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be utilizing your strong leadership and communication skills to manage and support the nursing staff. You will be responsible for developing and implementing nursing care plans and treatment protocols. Your ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals will be essential in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care. Additionally, other supervisory and/or social service experience would be beneficial in this role.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
BRC's Chemical Dependency Crisis Center (CDCC) offers 32 beds of supportive inpatient detoxification services for homeless men and women. These services are licensed by NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and funded by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The CDCC program provides medical services, individual and group motivational counseling, didactic health and substance abuse education, and therapeutic activities. In December 2014, CDCC added medically supervised withdrawal services its existing medically monitored withdrawal services, allowing the program to serve clients with a broader range of medical needs.
