You will procure material for the Raytheon Missiles and Defense business unit. You will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers including material program managers, programs, manufacturing, planning, engineering, finance and mission assurance /quality. • Preparation of solicitations including RFI’s, RFP’s & RFQ’s.

• Evaluate quotations/proposals utilizing price analysis techniques.

• Placing low to medium complex purchase orders for materials, services, and consumables from requesting quotes through negotiations and execution

• Managing supplier performance and relationships, as well as identifying new sources of supply as needed

• Developing metrics and reports to manage flow of material from origin through delivery

• Constantly communicating with various internal and external stakeholders regarding needs and updates

• Support program travel needs to visit supplier as needed

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience

• Support program travel needs to visit supplier as needed

QUALIFICATIONS WE VALUE:

• BS/BA in business, supply chain, engineering, or related fields

• Efficient and knowledge of SAP and other procurement tools.

• Data analysis and metrics development

• Experience with Government purchase orders

• Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
