Crossfire Trailer Service is locally owned and operated. We maintain strong family values and treat our employees like family. Crossfire Trailer Service is a well renowned trailer repair shop in the Stephenville community, and our customers sometimes drive hundreds of miles to ensure they receive our level of care. Crossfire Trailer Service specializes in living quarter horse trailers but also performs repairs, services, and modifications to all types of trailers including stock, flatbed, utility, cargo, boat, and specialty.
We are looking for RV technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for Trailer and RV technicians to help us create an environment of success!
Responsibilities
As a Crossfire Trailer Service RV technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of trailer and RV maintenance services, including:
Perform routine trailer maintenance, including fluid exchanges, oil changes, winterization, etc.
Visual safety and courtesy inspections
Mounting, balancing, and rotating tires
Replacing batteries
Changing bulbs and trailer plugs
Service trailer bearings, brakes, and suspension systems
Diagnose and repair appliances, air conditioning and heating systems, awnings, windows, doors, electronics and radios, generators, water tanks and systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Repair and upgrade trailer jacks and supports
Repair and/or add ramps, hay pods, steps, awnings, generators, and other accessories
Maintaining and cleaning shop areas
Other shop maintenance items as needed
Qualifications
Must have prior knowledge of trailer/RV diagnosis and repair
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license

Work Schedule
Shop hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
You are expected to show up at least 15 minutes before the start of the shift
This position does not require working Saturdays, but if a Saturday schedule is assigned, the RV technician will be given one day off during the week to keep the 5 day per week work schedule to promote work-life balance

Six paid holidays per year.
Five paid vacation days per year after one year of employment, and ten paid vacation days per year after two years of employment.
