    The Per Diem Home Infusion Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe administration of parenteral products along with professional nursing care for patients in their home.

    Responsibilities:

    Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients.

    Perform ongoing patient assessments and notifies the supervising clinician of all abnormal findings.

    Insert and manage IV lines for infusion therapy.

    Monitor patients during infusion therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness of treatment.

    Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding infusion therapy procedures and self-care at home.

    Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of treatments, medications, and patient responses.

    Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.

    Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

    Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a certification in infusion therapy preferred.

    Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Connecticut.

    Proficiency in IV insertion, management, and maintenance.

    Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices.

    Strong assessment skills to monitor patient response to infusion therapy treatments.
