Fullerton Regional Veterinary Hospital is a 3,200 sq ft full-service hospital offering a wide range of services including hospitalization, in-house orthopedic surgeries, internal medicine consultation with board-certified ultrasonography, scoping, and echocardiograms, exotic pet medicine, and house calls while continuing to provide exceptional medicine and surgery. We will also offer digital radiology, digital dental radiology, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and a full double surgical suite. We are located in a business center in Fullerton near major freeways and close to nearby Disneyland and Knotts as well as Downtown Fullerton and many restaurants.
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and positive team player for our Registered Veterinary Technician full-time position (open to part-time as well!) who is currently licensed as an RVT in the State of California and has a minimum of two years' experience as well as being very experienced with dentistry and extractions.

You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Previous experience is required. As an RVT, you will be expected to complete and excel in the following duties:
· Effective communication with clients
· Input Medical Records
· Run In-house laboratory blood analyzers
· Phlebotomy & IV/Urinary Catheterization
· Cystocentesis
· Radiographs
· Bandaging
· Assisting DVM in exams & treatments
· Assisting in surgery & monitoring anesthesia
· Perform dentals and dental extractions
· Monitoring and recovering patients after surgery
· Maintaining and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
· Cleaning and disinfecting cages, kennels, and exam rooms
· Helping to provide emergency first aid to sick or injured animals
· Administering medications and/or immunizations
· Performing laboratory tests
· Feeding patients and monitoring food and water intake
· Sample collection (i.e. blood, urine, or tissue)
· Training and oversight of assistants
