    Solvet Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to support the the Federal Corrections Institute: Danbury.

    This is an excellent opportunity to provide critical diagnostic imaging services in a unique and secure healthcare environment while working with a mission-driven team.

    Pay: $41.00-$46.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    • Full-time | 40 hours per week

    • Monday through Thursday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

    • Paid Federal Holidays: 12 per year

    • Paid Time Off: Up to 80 hours per year (accrued starting day one)

    • Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year (accrued starting day one)

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Independently perform diagnostic X-ray imaging including chest, bone, spine, skull, and portable studies.

    • Assist with advanced procedures such as IVPs, barium swallows, fluoroscopy, and C-arm imaging during surgeries.

    • Maintain and operate all radiologic equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks.

    • Ensure timely completion and communication of imaging results to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

    • Maintain compliance with Joint Commission (JC) standards and Bureau of Prisons (BOP) policies.

    • Report service or equipment issues to the COR or designated representative.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech).

    • Graduate of a state-approved Radiologic Technologist program.

    • Current, valid, and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist license (Connecticut preferred).

    • ARRT and/or CRT certification required.

    • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

    • U.S. Citizenship required.

    • Must successfully complete a national background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
