Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing and 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join our Microelectronics Technologies Operation. This Operation develops and analyzes hardware and firmware to address global security threats in microelectronic devices. In this role you will need to be innovative, adept at learning new concepts, and willing to lead a project. You should have an expert understanding of the digital design and verification flow and the ability to help derive requirements for projects. You should expect to:
- Architect system design and test strategies for an ASIC design effort spanning multiple sites
- Design, simulate, synthesize, and test IP for ASIC designs
- Communicate well with customers and team members by providing reports, technical documentation, and guidance
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced team comprised of government, contractor, and industry personnel
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior team members
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- System-On-a-Chip or Microcontroller design experience
- Experience with Mentor or Cadence design and verification tools
- Experience with ModelSim, Xilinx Vivado, and Microsemi Libero tools
- Experience with system security and cryptographic algorithms (AES, ECC, SHA, etc.)
- Experience being the technical lead of a team
- Entrepreneurial mindset to continuously improve, propose new ideas, and engage the team
- Active Final Secret clearance with PR within last 6 years
Required Skills
- Proficient in Verilog or VHDL coding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillset
- US Citizen
- Applicants must have ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret clearance
Required Experience
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or relevant field from an ABET accredited school
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ASIC design
