Halfaker has an opening for a SENIOR PRINCIPAL ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT to join our talented, dynamic team. The key responsibilities for this position include:​

• ​Lead the development and enhancement of a shared enterprise data lake solution that meets a diverse set of Analytics, Reporting, and Data Science needs across the enterprise
• Lead the development of an enterprise data model that incorporates raw data from variety of sources with different models
• Work with architects across multiple lines of businesses to construct a self-service enterprise analytics platform
• Perform analysis on industry trends and new technologies, and make recommendations for improvement
• Lead the creation and management of enterprise architecture models, standards, and roadmaps that are in line with client strategies

Required Skills

• Experience in developing and implementing enterprise architecture plans, information architectures, standards, guidelines, and strategic plans
• Ability to estimate and analysis the financial, business, and technical impact of solution architecture alternatives
• Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations
• Establish trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders across a variety of VA organizations and vendors
• Strong understanding of cloud concepts and well-architected frameworks
• Hands-on experience building data solutions leveraging MS Azure services and technologies, including ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, and Power BI
• Strong understanding of data architecture concepts including: Data Modeling, Data Movement, Data Governance, Data Security

Required Experience

Master's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required

• 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
