The Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on developing analytical tools for intelligence analysts. Successful candidates will perform software development on a collaborative Agile Scrum development team and will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Work location may be at NASIC facilities, the Radiance offices, or a combination of both. Flexibility and the ability to work on a wide range of development platforms and software is a must.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field

Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of full-stack application development experience
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance
- Experience with using technologies such as Qt Modeling Language (QML) for building user interfaces
- Competent knowledge of C++ through version 17
- Experience utilizing RESTful web services
- Experience with version control software. Git experience is preferred.
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- An exceptional candidate would have experience with Graduated Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) technologies
- Experience with server-side languages, such as JavaScript and Python as well as creating, versioning and maintaining RESTful web services
- A Docker enthusiast is highly preferred
- An understanding of Elasticsearch is desirable
- An attractive candidate will have a knowledge of distributed application development
- Familiarity with container DevSecOps using tools such as Jenkins, Nexus and Terraform
- Understanding of effective User Experience (UX) design
- Familiarity with the application of Design Patterns
- Competency in vector coordinate transformations and related mathematics
