Job Summary
Position available in both Overland Park and Zona Rosa Locations. Work with students with difficult behaviors in both 1:1 and 2:1 setting to use relationship building, trust, motivation techiniques to facilitate the student through the proprietary curriculum to help them develop the foundation of their sensory motor system to help them handle the stress of daily life better and be able to adapt to school, home and all other environments with greater ease and success.
Responsibilities:
learn and follow the curriculum and facilitate the student to achieve their age related goals of the program
Provide training direction, encouragement, motivation,
Adjust coaching techniques based on individual student
Use data-driven instruction in the teaching/learning process
Build an engaging and safe environment for all students
Be open to feedback throughout for learning and growth
Be humble, open and a great team player
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field
Experience in dealing with behaviors
Successful coaching or teacher leadership experience preferred
Fun loving, energetic demeanor to help great an encouraging environment that students are willing to engage in
Ability and willingness to be physically active throughout the shift including getting up and down from the floor, reaching, pulling and support about 50 pound while spotting briefly in one activity.
