Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Licensure: Valid ARRT certification and Indiana state radiologic licensure; EKG certification (e.g., CCI or NHA) preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years in radiography and EKG procedures; hospital experience ideal.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating X-ray/EKG equipment, image processing, and equipment maintenance.
- Soft Skills: Strong patient communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for X-rays/EKGs, addressing special needs and ensuring safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiologic/EKG equipment; troubleshoot or coordinate repairs.
- Evaluate image quality, retake studies as needed, and deliver results to physicians.
- Manage X-ray film library, patient records, and departmental supply inventory.
- Conduct EKGs, interpret tracings, and communicate findings to medical staff.
- Track diagnostic statistics and provide performance improvement data to leadership.
- Mentor staff or supervise workflows as required.
