Responsibilities:
Reading studies of all modalities
Performing diagnostic mammograms
Conducting breast biopsies
Required Procedures:
Mammogram reading
PET scan interpretation
Breast biopsies
Job description:
Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns
Performing diagnostic procedures like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
Interpreting radiological examinations and providing detailed reports of findings
Working with other doctors to accurately diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
Performing interventional procedures such as biopsies.
Ensuring the safety of patients by using protective devices and minimizing radiation exposure
Maintaining accurate patient records and radiological history
Staying up-to-date with developments in radiological technology and techniques
Teaching and supervising radiology residents and medical students
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
Board certification in Radiology.
2 years of experience in dedicated Breast center, in radiology.
Strong understanding of radiologic technology and equipment.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Experience with common medical software applications.
