    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Radiology / Cardiology X-Ray Tech to join our team! 13-week travel contract Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) in the New Brunswick area. As a Radiology / Cardiology, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.

    13 weeks… Monday-Friday 7a-330p 1+ Year experience required ARRT (R) Required… NJ license required… Will work with Diagnostic x-ray, OR (c-arm), portables … Experience with Philip Siemens and GE … Black scrubs… EPIC charting… Block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking All RTO and scheduling requests MUST be included with submission, in the event that the traveler calls out during their assignment they will be required to make up the shift on an alternate day that week. Weekend call outs will result in alternate weekends being scheduled to make up the shift. If there is >3 call outs the traveler will be requested to add that time onto the end of their contract.....

    Responsibilities

    Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections

    Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results

    Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart

    Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary

    Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

    Qualifications

    American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Experience with medical charting desired

    Strong attention to detail
