At Recruitz, we are seeking an experienced Radiology Director to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Diagnostic Imaging department, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services. This position requires a strategic approach to department management, team leadership, and continuous improvement in radiology practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operations of the radiology department, including diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance department efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction

• Lead and mentor a team of radiologists, technologists, and support staff

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate radiology services into the broader patient care continuum

• Stay abreast of advances in imaging technology and implement new modalities as appropriate

• Manage the department's budget, including capital equipment planning and resource allocation

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice

• Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives related to patient care and safety

What We Are Looking For:

• MD or DO with board certification in Radiology

• Minimum 10 years of experience in radiology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Active medical license in the state of practice

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Commitment to quality patient care and safety

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty

• MBA or MHA degree

• Experience with PACS, RIS, and other relevant healthcare IT systems

• Strong understanding of healthcare economics and reimbursement models

• Demonstrated track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives

• Experience in academic or research-oriented healthcare settings
