Job Summary
We are seeking an RT, LMRT, OR NCT to join our team! As a an XRay Tech, you are responsible for changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting with medical assisting skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Requirements:
Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (preferred)
Bilingual/Spanish (preferred)
Must have a RT, LMRT, or NCT License or certification from an accredited program (required)
Should have a medical assistant certification from an accredited program (preferred not required)
CPR Certified (preferred not required)
Assists with patient triage, vitals, patient medical history and insurance verification (required)
Responsibilities:
This position performs radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
This position may also perform some exams in more complex modalities
Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures prepares patients for exam, obtains and records patient’s vital signs, explains procedure, administers IV and contrast, when necessary, positions patients for the exam, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images
Enters and monitors patient data
Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment
May assist with initial and renewal application for ACR and another accreditation
Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management
Required knowledge of OSHA and CLIA, HIPAA, general office tasks and filing systems
Takes emergency call within the department
May be required to work weekends and float to other locations as needed
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Convenient Urgent Care policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service
Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions
Able to work with a team and to delegate tasks as necessary
Schedule:
4 Day work week 10.5 hour shifts
5 Day work week 8.5 Hour shifts
Available on weekends/Alternate weekends- Non Negotiable
