Company:Carnival Cruise Line;Area of Interest: Human ResourcesLocation:Miami State:Florida Job Title:Cornerstone LMS Admin &amp; Instructional Designer Candidate Profile As a Cornerstone LMS Admin for the last 3-5 years you know the complex technical systems that support enterprise-wide eLearning inside and out. But it wasn't always Cornerstone LMS. In college, it was probably your natural ability and passion to help others learn that lead you to a Bachelor's or Master's in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or similar. Over the past 5+ years, you have gained credibility as an Instructional Designer by consistently applying the tenants of eLearning and Instructional Systems Design, while developing in-depth technical knowledge. In fact, with so much experience as a System Admin for Cornerstone's LMS you're not even sure if you should call yourself an Instructional Designer or a "Techie." What you do know is that you are READY! Ready to own the System Admin role for Cornerstone's LMS and apply your Instructional Design skills. Wow! If this sounds like you we should talk! Right now! Essential Functions The LMS Administrator &amp; Instructional Designer will have primary accountability for the successful and effective leveraging of the Cornerstone LMS in support of the learning and development needs across the business. Responsibility also includes design, development, and maintaining of SCORM compliant eLearning content. Support both administrative and technical aspects of the Cornerstone LMS system, including creating curriculum, testing, deploying, maintaining and reporting on learning content through the LMS. Establish and maintain custom user groups. Perform enrollment of users, assignment of learning plans, management of data, creation and distribution of reports, monitoring of system updates/changes and light troubleshooting in the LMS. Upload and perform quality assurance on SCORM content. Create and maintain automated and custom emails. Identify methods to improve productivity and growth via use of the LMS system. Utilizes ADDIE or other instructional design models when designing training programs. Utilize eLearning software (Articulate, Camtasia, etc.) and other instructional design software when designing training programs. Support instructor-led training by developing complementary eLearning components in blended learning programs. Collaborate with team, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to evaluate and employ instructional media modifications and enhancements. Partner with team members, content owners and department leaders on how to utilize and conduct key tasks within the LMS (e.g. run reports, manage completions, etc.) Source vendors, and oversees quality of products and services delivered. Management of the L &amp; D (Intranet) site and any training on the utilization of our intranet. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the field of instructional design, instructional systems technology, or educational technology. Master's preferred. 5 years of experience with learning technologies, Cornerstone learning management system and instructional design with focus on eLearning and mLearning content development and related tools (e.g. Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Lectora). Knowledge of HTML preferred. 5 years of experience in graphic and multimedia design and production with expert knowledge of design software and editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut Pro, Motion). Experience in video and still photography preferred. Required knowledge and experience in applying adult learning theory and instructional design (ADDIE) models. Experience working with Cornerstone learning management system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong project management, leadership, and team building skills. Must have demonstrated excellence in communication and diplomacy with all levels of staff and leadership. Ability to use and facilitate online communications, including chat rooms, videoconferencing, webinars and other technology based communication media. Prior experience in the development of function or organization-wide training strategies. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Highly organized and detail oriented. Must have a proactive approach to problem solving and demonstrated the ability to be a strategic thinker. Excellent computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint. Expert knowledge of design software and editing tools (e.g. Articulate, Lectora, Camtasia, Captivate). Knowledge of HTML preferred.
