JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing and removing ads, as well as maintaining billboards.
• Maintaining structures includes: painting over graffiti and checking for and reporting any defects in structure.
• Inspects truck and equipment for safety hazards.
• Drives truck on route to sign sites.
• Sets up ladders and safety equipment to climb signs.
• Removes and lowers display materials.
• Hoists, aligns, and inserts sections of materials to display area to create advertising message.
• Assist in assembly of new billboard structures under supervision of Construction Specialist.
• Cutting brush/weeds as needed.
• Use power/manual tools; must adhere to all safety regulations.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Maintain vehicles; tools, equipment and machinery.
• Responsible for taking completion photos for proof of performance.
• Completing safety forms for climbing equipment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication skills. Ability to speak and read English fluently.
• Must be willing to work and get along well with others.
• Ability to comply with Reagan safety standards while performing work.
• Welding experience or ability to learn a plus.
• Ability to learn and follow instructions correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work from ladders and carry a ladder and/or other tools to the worksite from vehicle.
• Physically capable to preform assigned tasks.
• Ability to climb heights and work at heights above ground safely.
• Ability to navigate confining areas.
• Skills in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license and dependable mode of transportation is required.
• Previous experience working at heights up to 100 ft. is a plus.
• Physical Demands and Work Environments
• The primary work environment for this position is outdoors, requiring the ability to work in adverse weather.
• The physical demands for this position include lifting, pulling, pushing, positioning ladders, ropes, pulleys, heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) extensive bending and climbing, sitting less than 50% of the time, standing and stooping.
• Good perception and peripheral vision.
• On-call shifts may be required.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
