Responsibilities: • Research real estate market area and provide information to clients so they can make an informed decision • Develop relationships that enhance the potential for future growth • Visit sites with clients and explain the features of the buildings along with financial and analytical data • Appraise properties using local real estate market comparisons to ensure fair market price to clients • Research property maintenance costs and possible renovating costs so clients will have thorough information before purchase negotiations • Be fearless in building new relationships by phone and old-fashioned shoe leather sales Qualifications: • Independent and self motivated • Possess ability to connect with a variety of personalities • Some knowledge of marketing and advertising • Knowledge of real estate industry practices and lease language The most successful agents have at least four of six traits/skills/experience (the more the better): • Social Media presence with significant followers (LinkedIn is the best) • Marketing/Advertising • Comfort in prospecting by telephone or knocking on business doors • Financial levers behind real estate/construction decisions • A significant amount of decision-maker contacts in any industry that leases, buys, or builds commercial real estate • Must have a valid Real Estate License or be in the process of completing necessary courses to secure a Florida Real Estate License • Not only wants to participate in but enjoys working with a team approach Compensation: $100,000+ at plan commission
