    We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Responsibilities: • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits • Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed • Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews Transaction Support : • Assist attorneys in all stages of real estate transactions, including residential and commercial purchases, sales, and lease agreements • Conduct title searches and review title reports to identify any liens, encumbrances, or restrictions affecting the property • Prepare and review contracts, leases, closing documents, and other related legal documents • Coordinate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure smooth communication and timely completion Deeds and Title Documents : • Prepare and review deeds, mortgages, promissory notes, and other title documents • Assist with the recording and filing of documents with the appropriate government agencies Land Use and Zoning : • Conduct research on local land use regulations, zoning laws, and other applicable ordinances • Assist attorneys in preparing land use applications, variances, and zoning petitions Due Diligence and Research : • Perform legal research and analysis on real estate matters, including property ownership, zoning regulations, environmental issues, and other relevant information Administrative and Support Functions : • Maintain organized files and records for real estate matters, including digital and physical documents • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and closings Closing Process : • Manage all documents and steps involved in real estate closings, both residential and commercial • Prepare and review closing statements, settlement statements, and other closing-related documents • Coordinate with lenders, title companies, and other parties to ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and executed accurately Qualifications: • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education • At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred • Strong oral and written communication skills • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills Compensation: $50,000 -$70,000
