    The successful candidate will be a hard-working multi-tasker who operates calmly in a dynamic business environment with shifting priorities and who works just as well independently as in a team. The ideal candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be extremely efficient and detail-oriented, and possess disciplined time-management and organizational skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide direct support to the Real Estate Counsel and Chief Development officer, including the preparation of correspondence, reports, and review of title, survey, due diligence items, corporate agreements, purchase sale agreements, asset purchase agreements, and loan agreements.

    Drafting initial versions of purchase and sale agreements, internal leases, commercial retail leases, deeds, curative documents (affidavits, waivers, releases, closing resolutions, temporary easements, etc.), and correspondence regarding varying aspects of complex real estate matters.

    Facilitate with the execution of documents, including proofing final versions of agreements, agreements, assisting with closing and post-closing matters.

    Manage timelines for real estate transactions including closings, inspections and contingency dates.

    Title, survey, and diligence review.

    Willing to work independently and together with other departments such as legal, finance, construction and development.

    Draft varying correspondence and fulfill requests from agencies, financial institutions, local governments.

    Liaise and coordinate with outside counsel, title companies, local governments, financial institutions, eminent domain counsel, right of way agents by gathering information, preparing documentation and coordinating the execution of documents.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    At least 3 years of experience in real estate transactions including commercial leasing, purchase and sale closings, loan closings, and title and survey review

    Ability to operate calmly and confidently under pressure. ·

    Effective and succinct verbal and written communication. Detail-oriented with active listening skills.

    Ability to be flexible and prioritize in a fast-paced business environment.
