Job Title: Real Estate Photography Post-Production Lead Type: Full-time, Year-Round Pay Range: 45,000 - 70,000 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Central Time) Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings in Frisco, TX)

Position Overview: The Real Estate Photography Post-Production Lead plays a pivotal role in managing and elevating our post-production process. This role is responsible for reviewing and editing Matterports, photos, and other visual assets to maintain the highest quality standards. The Post-Production Lead must ensure consistency with company brand guidelines and deliver visually compelling, market-ready content. This position involves independent decision-making on the majority of projects, handling virtual staging and CAD requests, and providing constructive, non-critical feedback on technical aspects. The Post-Production Lead will also oversee the final delivery of products to clients, ensuring adherence to delivery standards, meeting deadlines, ensuring client satisfaction and leading the post production team.
In addition to overseeing post-production, the Post-Production Lead will also play a crucial role in leading and developing the post-production team, fostering a collaborative environment, providing mentorship, and driving continuous improvement in team performance and skills.
The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a commitment to continuous workflow improvement are essential. This position is critical to delivering exceptional, high-quality imagery and Matterport tours that align with client expectations and contribute to a seamless real estate marketing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Post-Production Editing:
Review and request changes for photo edits to the editing team.
Ensure all edited photos align with the company’s brand standards and client specifications.
Review and make necessary changes to Matterports.
Maintaining Brand Standards:
Uphold and enforce the company’s visual brand standards across all post-production work.
Regularly review edited content to ensure consistency with established guidelines.
Tech Feedback and Support:
Provide feedback to the technical team regarding non-critical issues and minor adjustments.
Document and escalate any tech-related communication when necessary.
Decision-Making on Projects:
Independently handle decision-making for 90% of submitted projects, approving them or requesting changes as needed.
Apply discretion and judgment to ensure the final quality and readiness of images before submission.
Communication with Tech Recruiter:
Send timely and organized communication to the tech recruiter for updates and guidance on product or platform improvements.
Collaborate effectively to provide feedback for guide updates and changes.
Virtual Staging and CAD Requests:
Manage virtual staging projects for properties to create appealing, market-ready listings.
Handle floor plan (FP) and CAD editing requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
Final Product Delivery & Client Satisfaction:
Quality Assurance: Review all edited images, Matterports, virtual staging, floor plans (FP), and CAD projects for quality, accuracy, and consistency before delivery.
Adherence to Delivery Standards: Follow company standards for file formats, resolution, and naming conventions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Timely and Accurate Delivery: Coordinate and manage the timely delivery of final products, including uploading to client portals or approved delivery methods. Plan ahead to forecast daily deliverables and coordinate support from team members when needed.
Client Communication: Maintain professional, responsive communication with clients regarding their final product deliveries. Address client inquiries and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Revisions & Adjustments: Assess and implement client-requested revisions in alignment with the initial brief and company standards.
Client Feedback: Proactively gather and track client feedback on final product delivery to inform process improvements and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the post-production team, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback to enhance skills and team performance.
Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that promotes growth, accountability, and high-quality results.
Identify areas for improvement within the team and implement training or workflow adjustments as needed.
Conduct regular performance reviews and help team members achieve their professional development goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Design, or related field (preferred but not required).
Experience: 3 years of experience in photo editing, post-production, or a similar role in the real estate or creative industry, with experience in team leadership or management (preferred).
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
Strong understanding of photography post-production techniques and virtual staging tools.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet brand and client standards.
Independent decision-making and efficient workflow management.
Strong communication skills for team leadership, coordination, and feedback.
Experience with CAD software (preferred but not required).
Knowledge:
Familiarity with real estate photography industry trends and practices.
Understanding of virtual staging software and best practices.
Familiarity with Matterport technology.
