    San Antonio Home Guys is expanding and hiring an Acquisitions Manager to join our Acquisitions Team to help us source, locate, and purchase real estate for our company! In this position, you will need to have amazing sales skills and perform at a high and fast-paced level. You will need to LOVE talking to people all day and have the drive, desire, and persistence to close deals. Most sales aren’t “laydown deals” and will generally require many touch points over long periods of time, as sellers are generally slow to make decisions to sell at a discount. Responsibilities: • Identifying and evaluating potential deals, negotiating, and signing purchase contracts. • Leads are provided, but to maximize your commissions, you will also be responsible for generating leads. • Manage and prioritize leads, ensuring that opportunities are pursued in a timely and effective manner. • Financially analyze your deals through due diligence, market research, property inspections, and risk assessments. • Scheduling and attending appointments with potential sellers, brokers, or stakeholders. • Networking with industry professionals and organizations to build relationships and stay up to date on market trends and opportunities. • Gather testimonials from past sellers and partners to build credibility and generate new leads. • This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and may interact with the company Owner, the Dispositions team, and others as needed. Our acquisitions team is engaged in ongoing training, tips, and even daily “check-in” meetings to overcome obstacles and challenges as they arise. You must be a high-caliber, intelligent, ethical person who wants to build a long-term career and have the ability to win customers, build rapport, and create win/win deals within the framework provided to you in training. • It will take someone who has a very high drive, cares about helping people, and is ready to dedicate themselves to reaching immense career success. If you’ve got that, we can train you on the rest. Qualifications: • In real estate, acquisition managers typically have a strong background in sales, with real estate experience typically being a huge plus. • Consultative or high-ticket sales are a plus as well. • Formal education is generally not a requirement, but problem-solving skills are critical. • Unless a prospect has done this exact role before, common backgrounds include auto • Sales, construction estimators, and similar roles that require strong people skills, negotiations, and networking. Compensation: 12% - 15% Commission
