    ABOUT US: Rebellyous Foods is an early-stage, plant-based food start-up.  As a food production and manufacturing technology company, we are working to substantially increase the volume and lower the price of high-quality plant-based chicken products to effectively replace animal-based meat on a large scale. Rebellyous Foods is a fully vaccinated workplace.

    ABOUT THE ROLE: Rebellyous Foods is seeking a hardworking, conscientious, flexible, and detail-oriented Sales Representative - Foodservice who enjoys making a difference, being a part of a team, and takes pride in working at a high level in an extremely fast-paced, constantly changing startup environment. We are seeking a mission-focused and dedicated team member who takes on duties enthusiastically to drive revenue within the foodservice team. Keen follow through is critical for success for employees in a startup environment, and particularly in this position. Frequent after hours and weekend availability may be required. This position requires considerable coordination with other team members. This is an extraordinary opportunity to support a fast growing, mission-focused start-up. 

    Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:

    • Prospect, identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities
    • Maintain relationships with clients throughout the entirety of the sales process by answering their questions and making sure you are always their first point of contact with the company
    • Have an upbeat attitude that creates the utmost satisfaction for our clients and further strengthens our company’s reputation as a highly respected plant-based meat company with exceptional customer service
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals as defined by management
    • Regularly review independent pipeline-building activities with the Business Development team
    • Conduct additional existing-customer outreach as directed by the VP of Business Development
    • Foster customer relationships with cold calling, ensure successful transactions with existing Rebellyous Foods customers, and vet/filter customer requests for escalation to other Rebellyous Foods teams when appropriate
    • Act as liaison to Production and Logistics Team: communicate with Production regarding orders and status updates
    • Balance time between short-cycle sales activity to close ‘hot’ orders quickly, and longer-term nurturing of customers to set up high-value revenue opportunities – with a strong focus on short-cycle, day-to-day selling
    • Hold to monthly sales commitments determined by management, and supported with daily coaching and guidance

    Qualifications: Candidates should have all of the following credentials:

    • At least 2 years of experience selling into foodservice channels.
    • Exceptional proficiency in _all standard _G-Suite applications as well as MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
    • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
    • Exceptional experience completing tasks to a high standard of professionalism and attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work quickly, (with and without tight deadlines) and effectively.
    • Ability to be flexible and willing to take on new tasks to support the team.
    • Excellent critical thinking skills and independent judgment. 
    • Highly organized and independent approach to follow-up tasks.
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced, demanding food production, startup environment.
    • Available to travel and staff shows as needed.
    • A passion to make the plant-based meat industry succeed.

    • A commitment to food safety.
    • Maintain a current food handler’s permit and apply food safety knowledge as necessary.
    • Ability to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

    COMPENSATION PACKAGE: Competitive salary based on experience.  Medical, dental and vision insurance offered along with accrued vacation and sick time.
