    Job Description

    ** POSITION SUMMARY:**

    The Receiving Inspection Associate is a key member of the Operations team. This team member is responsible for diligently executing the TMC Returns and Receiving Inspection processes, ensuring all returned and incoming inventory meets stringent quality and manufacturing standards. This role involves decontaminating and inspecting returned products, reviewing manufacturing documentation, verifying part counts, and performing visual and dimensional inspections to ensure conformance with company and FDA requirements. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting shipping activities.

    ** PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    • Issue, update, and resolve RGAs (Returned Goods Authorizations) for returned products.
    • Decontaminate products using validated autoclave equipment upon arrival and prior to inspection.
    • Receive and inspect returned and incoming products per applicable processes and work instructions, suggesting and implementing improvements where necessary.
    • Thoroughly review and inspect all receiving documentation (packaging, components, labels, finished goods, etc.) to ensure compliance with stringent medical device quality requirements.
    • Verify material certificates, post-processing certificates, inspection data, lot numbers, and create inventory labels in the ERP system.
    • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using standard tools such as Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, microscopes, and surface plate setups.
    • Identify product non-conformances to company requirements and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
    • Accurately track returned and received products in the company’s accounting and ERP systems.
    • Assist with scheduling shipments of components to suppliers, finished goods to customers, and products to kit assemblers.
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to prioritize receiving and returns activities.
    • Complete general clerical duties, including copying, scanning, and emailing.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

    • High school diploma or GED required; AA or BS preferred.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, or a similar operations role.
    • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry preferred.
    • Working knowledge of FDA regulations and standards is a plus.
    • Periodic overtime may be required.
