Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, welcoming receptionist to join our team!
As the receptionist/concierge for dog daycare you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, and answer phone calls, as well as bring dogs to and from group. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.
Responsibilities
Greet guests as they arrive
Assist with maintaining a clean and inviting environment
Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
Immediate and continuous response to busy phones, email, and in-person customer interactions
Understand and disseminate accurate company policy information
Perform various dog handling tasks, such as waste removal, feeding, introducing, and removing dogs from group play areas.
Must be comfortable using cloud-based CRMs, open communication platforms, various email programs, Word, Excel, etc.
Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, bending, and stooping
Qualifications
Two or more years of customer service experience is preferred
Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Familiar with computers and scheduling software
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Can lift 50 lbs without assistance
