Position Overview: As a receptionist at G.R. Little Agency, Inc., you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. You will be responsible for managing phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing administrative support to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
Provide information about our agency and services to clients and visitors.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Assist in maintaining office supplies and ordering as needed.
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence and client outreach.
Ensure the reception area is clean and organized at all times.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth office operations.
Assist clients by taking premium payments and routing to the appropriate insurance company.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus but not required.
