We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality care and excellent customer service to both our furry patients and their owners.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Greet and welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic.

    Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits, optimizing the veterinarian's daily schedule for maximum efficiency.

    Answer phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing general information about our services.

    Check-in and check-out clients and their pets, ensuring accurate record-keeping and updating patient information in the system.

    Handle financial transactions, process payments, and generate invoices for services rendered.

    Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable and inviting environment for clients and their pets.

    Communicate effectively with the veterinary team, providing essential information about incoming patients, their medical history, and any special requirements.

    Assist in managing and organizing medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations.

    Coordinate prescription refills, dietary orders, and other client requests as directed by the veterinary staff.

    Collaborate with colleagues to address any client concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate personnel.

    Provide compassionate support to clients during difficult times, such as euthanasia appointments or emergency situations.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or a customer service role required

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with pet owners.

    Proficient in using computer software for appointment scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.

    Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, records, and client interactions effectively.

    Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally charged environment.

    Genuine passion for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

    Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays as required.
