Since 2016 Portrait Pro Studio has been providing memorable senior portrait sessions for students in Southern California. Our studio employees use a relational approach to create a unique experience for each student, ensuring the highest quality portraits are delivered for every customer. ****

    This is a seasonal position that will work with us from May through November, Mon - Fri with the following schedule: May-August 9:30am-6pm Mon-Fri & August-November 12:30pm-9pm M-Thur, 12pm-6pm Fri **** **** ****

    Job Summary

    **** The Receptionist is the liaison between our company and its current and potential customers. Effectively books sessions, solves customer issues, complaints, and inquiries. Manages a high volume of calls and walk in customers while assisting customers with booking and checking them in for their senior sessions. As well as managing the front of the Studio to ensure sessions stay on time.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities

    Greet clients and customers
    • Check in clients and customers and assist with the check in process
    • Answer a high volume of calls
    • Book Senior Sessions
    • Identify customer's needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide answers, solutions and/or alternatives.
    • Build rapport and sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile to help them
    • Handle all customer complaints respectfully and professionally
    • Seize opportunities to up-sell sessions when they arise
    • Represent the company in a professional manner
    • Keep records of all conversations in our customer database in a comprehensible way
    • Assist in making reminder phone calls and sending reminder emails for sessions
    • Process payments
    • Manage front of house by effectively communicating and coordinating with the Photography and Customer Service Lead to ensure sessions stay on time
    • File
    • Relay messages to the appropriate team members
    • Support and adhere to the uniform dress code, systems, and procedures, as well as the company Conduct Code, as prescribed in the Employee Guidelines Handbook.
    • Assist with other job responsibilities when necessary **

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
    • Ability to answer a high volume of incoming calls
    • Scheduling experience a plus
    • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
    • Able to work as part of a team to carry out business objectives and operational standards
    • Basic computer skills with ability to learn new programs
    • Organized team player
    • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, set priorities and manage time effectively

    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum two-years experience in Customer Service
