Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical office. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Key Responsibilities
· Scheduling and Confirming Appointments: Manage patient appointments using phone, text, CRM system, and in-person interactions.
· Liaison Between Medical Staff and Patients: Facilitate effective communication between patients and medical staff, ensuring all parties are informed.
· Welcoming Environment: Create a warm and hospitable atmosphere in the waiting room by offering hospitality to patients.
· Fielding Questions, Orders, and Membership Updates: Address patient inquiries, process orders, and manage membership updates in a timely and professional manner.
· Communication with New Inquiries: Engage with prospective patients through phone, text, and CRM to provide information and schedule initial consultations.
· Additional Projects and Tasks: Take on other projects and tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the medical office.
· Problem-solve: continually improve new processes to help operations run smoothly
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in an office or customer service role is preferred.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Proficiency in using phone systems, text messaging, and computer programs.
· Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
· Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on patient care.
· Attention to detail and organizational skills.
