    Job Description

    ** What you will do in this role:** Having a loved one in a medical center is stressful. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first happy face to greet our visitors and family members and make them feel at ease. The functions are similar to that of a “Welcome” (reception) desk. You are greeting guests, performing clerical tasks and managing the phone lines for a busy Medical Facility.

    Sample of daily duties:

    • Greet and direct visitors while managing the incoming phone lines
    • Create correspondence, data entry, printing, scanning, manage office supplies, and receive mail/deliveries
    • Make doctor appointments for guests and arrange the transportation
    • Monitor the employee door and ambulance bay entrance

    Qualifications

    ** Medical Receptionist:** officially we call this job a Concierge, but in other centers it may be called a Welcome or Front Desk Receptionist.

    What we need from you:

    • Prior Experience in a Healthcare or Medical setting is preferable.
    • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Strong Written and verbal English communication skills are required
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
