SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 08:30 am to 05:00 pm (37.50 hours per week)
PAY: $15-$18 per hour plus outstanding benefits once vested.
RECEPTIONIST and Account Service Representative
Summary: Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel by performing the following duties. As well as assist Account Managers with clerical duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail, including pick-up and delivery to post office.
- Maintains fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
- Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies.
- Handles maintenance repairs for all office equipment needs.
- Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or colleagues and type routine correspondence.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- knowledge of Microsoft Word word processing software; Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software; Sagittasoftware and ImageRight software. (TESTING IN MS WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK AND BASIC MATH WILL BE REQUIRED)
- Property & Casualty License required. If not upon hire, must attain within 6 months of hire. CISR Certificate should be sought within 18 months to 2 years of hire.
