We are looking for a receptioist for a busy chiropractic office. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday.
Greeting and Assisting Patients: Welcoming patients as they arrive, checking them in for appointments, and providing any necessary assistance or directions within the office.
Appointment Scheduling: Managing the appointment schedule, including booking new patient appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinating with the chiropractor to optimize the schedule.
Answering Phone Calls and Emails: Handling incoming calls and emails, addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
Patient Intake and Records Management: Collecting patient information, insurance details, and medical history forms, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Billing and Insurance: Verifying patient insurance coverage, processing payments, and assisting with insurance-related inquiries and billing issues.
Providing Information: Educating patients about chiropractic services, procedures, and office policies, as well as answering general inquiries about the practice.
Maintaining Reception Area: Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients, and managing the distribution of relevant educational materials or brochures.
Coordinating with Chiropractic Staff: Communicating with chiropractors and other healthcare providers within the office to facilitate patient flow and address any urgent patient needs.
Administrative Support: Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and other office duties as needed to support the efficient operation of the chiropractic office.
Patient Follow-Up: Making reminder calls for upcoming appointments, following up with patients after their visits, and assisting with patient satisfaction surveys or feedback collection.
Handling Payments: Processing patient payments, managing cash transactions, and reconciling daily financial transactions.
Maintaining Patient Confidentiality: Adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
