    Job Description

    _ Position Overview_

    The Reconciliations + Withdrawals Analyst plays an integral role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for processing distributions, providing client support, assisting with loan administration, managing plan adjustments, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the processes related to plan terminations and deconversions, including reconciling accounts, managing fund transfers, and ensuring a smooth transition of plan assets and data to new providers. The analyst must ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain meticulous records throughout these transitions to uphold service quality and client satisfaction.

    _ Key Responsibilities_

    • Financial Operations Knowledge:
      Possess or develop a strong foundational understanding of financial operations, including:
    * Participant withdrawals
    * Plan loans and ongoing loan maintenance
    * ADP, ACP, and 402(g) refunds
    * Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)
    * Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) calculations and processing
    * Investments
    * Plan terminations and deconversions
    
    • Task Execution: * Respond promptly and accurately to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tickets and internal inquiries, whether written or verbal. * Collaborate with the team to assist with and take on increasingly complex responsibilities, such as:
      • Performing cash and fund reconciliations
      • Executing recordkeeping adjustments
      • Managing corporate actions and fund/model changes
      • Analyzing gains and losses
      • Administering plan-level fees
      • Processing loans, distributions, terminations, and deconversions
    • Client Support: * Provide timely and effective solutions to meet client needs and address challenges. * Contribute to the preparation of client reporting and participate in cross-training activities as directed by management.
    • Policy Adherence and Team Collaboration: * Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, and service standards to consistently meet client expectations. * Collaborate with the Team Lead to update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices, ensuring the team has access to up-to-date tools and resources. * Always uphold the organization’s security policies and procedures.
    • Quality and Performance: * Maintain high-quality standards and meet established quality assurance benchmarks.

    401(k) Knowledge: A basic understanding of 401(k) rules and regulations is required; ASPPA credentials are preferred.

    _ Skills + Experience_

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the retirement services industry.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address issues effectively.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on follow-through and clarity.
    • Proficiency in Excel, including intermediate to advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP).
    • Process-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet team and organizational goals.

    Additional Information

    _ This is a salaried, full-time, remote position with an annual base salary of $63,205-$71,492 plus variable._
