The Recon Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting all carpenters and subcontractors on assigned reconstruction jobs, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and budget targets are met. This role includes job setup, ongoing site inspections, training carpenters, and providing daily and weekly updates to the Recon Manager. The Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining company standards and adhering to core values while guiding and developing team members. Responsibilities: Daily Responsibilities: • Review new job budgets, scopes, and estimates, and discuss any challenges or issues with the Recon Manager. • Call all carpenters assigned to your jobs to provide an overview of the day's tasks and ensure the team is prepared. • Meet with Project Coordinators (PCs) to address any questions, then head out to job sites for oversight. • Instruct – Clearly communicate job scopes and plans to carpenters. • Train – Provide on-the-job training in specific skills, such as texturing, floating, painting, or using tools/software like Xcelerate. Share shortcuts, tips, and setup instructions. • Correct – Identify any mistakes, explain proper procedures, and provide corrective training to ensure quality and professional growth. • Oversee the setup of all new jobs on Day 1, including subcontractor coordination. • Confirm the estimate and Time & Materials (T&M) scope and accuracy of the budget. • Establish a job schedule and set expectations with the carpenter • Communicate with the Project Manager (PM) about any scope, estimate, or budget questions. • Document any pre-existing damages or missing items, identify special orders, and relay this to the PC. • Record all initial notes and take photos in Xcelerate. • Visit or contact each job in progress daily (including subcontractor work), either in person, via FaceTime, or by phone. • Submit an Xcelerate update with inspection photos before leaving each site. • Contact the PM with any issues or updates, such as delays, additional scope, or damages. • Ensure daily that job quality, cleanliness, and adherence to the budget are met. • Perform final inspections for jobs completed that day (including subcontractors). • Complete a final inspection form and take completion photos the same day or the next day if necessary. • Send a daily job update to the Recon Manager via the Recon Supervisor Slack channel. • Attend the weekly supervisor meeting from 8:15 to 9:15 AM to discuss Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), updates, and any department issues. Qualifications: Skills and Requirements: • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in project documentation and tracking software (e.g., Xcelerate). • Expertise in reconstruction techniques and standards. • Ability to train and develop team members on-site. Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly
