    Job Description

    The IQ Business Group (IQBG) is currently recruiting for a Records Management File Inventory Specialist. If you are looking for an entry level position in which you will organize microfiche, please keep reading! This is a temporary project in the Denver metro area.

    You will be responsible for inventory, organization, indexing, and boxing of microfiche for digitization. The goal of the project is to prepare the microfiche for digitization by July 22, otherwise they will need to be moved to storage.

    • Work to be performed on-site at federal government office.

    • Working hours are 8am-4pm Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

    • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel.

    • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.

    • Must be willing to complete a Public Trust background investigation.

    • Tier 1 background investigation conducted and paid for by the employer.

    Responsibilities

    • Inventory, organize, index, and box microfiche per requirements to prepare for digitization.

    • Disassembly and reassembly of files, including removal of staples, paperclips, binders clips, or rearrangement of paper.

    • Handling of aged and/or fragile documents

    • Preparing and submitting files for legal review.

    • Digitization, conversion, and ingestion into RM software solution.

    • Microfiche artifacts that cannot be accurately identified or indexed will be logged as 'other' and isolated

    • SME will validate all microfiche inventory entires.

    • Candidate MUST be a US Citizen

    • Preference for candidates who are currently studying or have a degree in Records Management or Content Management
