Position: Registered Nurse - Recovery Room

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Shift: Days

Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in our Recovery Room, you'll play a crucial role in our compassionate healthcare team. Your responsibilities include planning and coordinating care for a group of patients within your area, as well as directing ancillary personnel to implement the patient's care plan. You will also master essential skills specific to your assigned area and may assume charge responsibilities. Your practice will adhere to the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, hospital policies and procedures, and Nursing Standards of Practice.

Requirements:

• Education: Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License or compact license.
• Experience: Preferred one year of experience in the PACU.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current South Carolina/or Compact  RN license.
  • BLS certification required before the first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS and National certification encouraged.
