We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and qualified Recreational Therapist to work as an independent consultant for our adult residential facility located in the Lemon Grove area of San Diego.

Position Information As an independent consultant, the recreational therapist will assess the functional needs of each client, evaluate each client’s on-going progress and work with our team to implement prescribed activities. The recreational therapist will work with our residents using self-motivating recreational activities to develop the individual's motor skills, social skills, and sensory functioning and will lead at least one monthly onsite activity with residents (individual or group). The recreational therapist will provide our facility administrator with a quarterly progress report for each individual resident. Expected Consulting Hours: 6 - 8 hours per a month (2 hours per individual resident)

Required Qualification: Valid registration issued by either the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification
