    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruiter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to onboarding new hires. You will play a crucial role in building our talent pipeline and ensuring we attract talent that aligns with our company values and goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, facilitating offers and pre-employment screenings
    • Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing strategies such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to identify and attract qualified candidates
    • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, ensuring alignment throughout the recruitment process
    • Candidate Experience: Maintain a positive candidate experience by providing transparent communication, timely feedback, and a supportive application process
    • Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Performs their job responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Consistently promote and represent Habitat’s employer brand online and offline
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills; able to provide positive, professional connections with a diverse applicant population
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of a variety of roles, (entry level associates, drivers, construction and other non-profit departments)
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Products
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum two years’ experience in conducting all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
    • Minimum of two years of sourcing experience for a variety of disciplines, outside of a RPO environment, preferred
    • Experience sourcing talent through the use of social networks and community organizations
    • Wisconsin Driver License and good driving record
    • Experience in the retail environment a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Travel to various worksites
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Salary $19.25-$24.00 hour, depending upon experience
