Job Overview:
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for overseeing the recruitment team’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective hiring processes while meeting client expectations. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on recruiting expertise. The Recruiting Manager will lead and develop a team of recruiters, optimize recruiting processes, and contribute to achieving both departmental and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of recruiters to meet and exceed hiring targets.
Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to recruiters to enhance their skills and performance.
Set clear performance expectations for recruiters, including metrics for candidate sourcing, interviews, and placements.
Conduct regular one-on-ones and performance reviews, providing feedback and development plans.
Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to encourage high morale and productivity.
Recruitment Operations:
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring roles are filled in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to source, engage, and hire top talent for clients.
Implement innovative recruiting methods, including leveraging job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
Optimize the candidate sourcing process to reduce time-to-fill while maintaining quality hires.
Ensure that all recruitment processes comply with legal and organizational policies.
Client & Candidate Relationship Management:
Act as a primary point of contact for clients to understand staffing needs and ensure satisfaction with candidate selection.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, ensuring ongoing communication and alignment on staffing requirements.
Ensure that all candidates are professionally engaged and provided with an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Serve as an escalation point for any client or candidate issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Metrics & Reporting:
Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
Regularly report on recruitment performance to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven feedback and market trends.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and leadership to understand the evolving staffing needs and adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.
Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of candidates.
Stay current on industry best practices, recruiting technologies, and trends to keep the company’s recruitment strategies competitive.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, managing a team of recruiters.
Experience in a staffing agency, talent acquisition, or recruitment firm is highly desirable.
Proven ability to recruit for a variety of positions across multiple industries.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, candidates, and internal teams.
In-depth knowledge of recruiting strategies, best practices, and sourcing channels.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze recruitment data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
