    Job Description

    The Recruiting Coordinator works directly with our Driver Recruiting department to manage administrative functions and tasks through the hiring process and orientation of new drivers. The Recruiting Coordinator will follow recruiting procedures/policies, and monitor administrative recruiting projects as needed throughout the hiring process. This position is a support role for the Recruiting team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

    • Strong communication skills both written and oral
    • A high degree of organizational skills and a strong sense of urgency
    • Communicate with applicants to prescreen them to ensure they are interested and qualified for the training, and book travel.
    • Ensuring the recruiters have scheduled new driver orientation and keeping up with daily calendar activities
    • Assisting recruiters with verification of employment, Clearinghouse, TenStreet for more efficient processing and completion before driver arrives at orientation
    • Capable of accurately entering data into our recruiting software
    • Travel arrangements for new and existing employees
    • Manage weekly and monthly reports

    Qualifications

    A Successful Recruiting Coordinator must consistently demonstrate the company’s Mission and Values. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone. They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful Recruiting Coordinator must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
