HR Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist - will recruit the best caregivers and retain them through involvement in the company, engage them in caregiver committees, develop the monthly caregiver/client newsletter, select employee of the month based on data, enter the sources of hire from data, post jobs on multiple job sites whilst finding more cost effective methods of recruiting, etc. Provide onboarding training in conjunction with RN as well as maintaining all onboarding paperwork.
Essential Functions:
In conjunction with Director and Owner, develop a consistent recruiting plan.
Job Postings (internal, website, academia, traditional media, social media, referral, staffing firms, etc.)
Develop and maintain an online recruiting presence. Using a diverse mix of recruiting tools and websites.
Develop and maintain an applicant tracking system. To ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates to fuel A Place At Home growth.
Pre-screening of potential candidates prior to interview.
Facilitate and customize the interviewing process for each opening.
Conduct all required new hire processing and orientation.
Facilitate and assist in development of new hire trainings.
Provide on call phone coverage rotated with existing office staff.
Collaborate and assist fellow team members.
In terms of retention, supervise all new caregivers for the first 90 days, where a warm handoff will be given to the Director of Operations.
Attend in person recruiting/career fairs as needed.
Travel to the Beaverton location as needed for training/orientation if necessary.
Occasional on-call rotation
Skills/Qualifications:
Associates Degree (2 year) related to
Human Resources
2 plus years of experience in HR field
3-5 years of Recruiting Experience Ability
HR Information System Experience
3-5 years of Recruiting Experience overcoming difficult recruiting challenges
Onboarding experience
Knowledge of current employment laws
Fluent with Social Media Recruiting tools
