    Job Description

    The Workforce1 Career Center (WF1CC) operates in coordination with the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) to provide recruitment, job training and business services. WF1CCs require the attention of professionals who can support major change initiatives, as well as ensure the success of a business-driven system. We operate three such centers within the Bronx: Main Hub (Fordham), West Farms (Tremont) and Hunts Point. Each Center features dedicated services to targeted populations including veterans, the justice involved and youth, as well as services to the general population. The Recruitment Account Manager (RAM) is the candidate engagement and referral representative for the Bronx Workforce1 team. As a RAM, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, screening and referring candidates to viable employers. The RAM reports to the Recruitment Services Manager and works closely with Career Advisors, Community Partner Coordinator, and Operations teams to ensure that we are collectively supporting the needs of jobseekers and employers.     Responsibilities

    • Conducts outreaches to seek viable candidates for suitable job openings based on employer's requirements for open positions
    • Engage with candidates via text, call and email to invite to join recruitment events
    • Screening candidates via established guides approved by partner employers
    • Selects qualified candidates for referral to partner employers
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
    • Maintains communication with referred candidates to track interview, next steps and hiring status
    • Keeps daily record of all candidate interactions
    • Attends in person, online and offsite recruitment events
    • Documents all candidate interactions into Workforce and/or Equus databases
    • Assists with job posting and advertising processes
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or 2 years work experience in business to business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruiting
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Data driven and has the ability to analyze and solve problems
    • Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
    • Strong presentation skills with public speaking or outside sales experience
    • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources
    • Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends
    • Friendly, professional demeanor
    • Recruitment or staffing experience preferred
    • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
    • Ability to work well in teams and independently
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Teams)

    Additional Information

    Pay range: $27.47 to $30.22 per hour
