ABOUT THE SEASONAL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE POSITION:

We are looking for a seasonal warehouse crew member to assist in the daily operations of our warehouse during our peak season. You will be the one to ensure the warehouse is running like clockwork to maximize sales and minimize shrink alongside the team. The ideal candidate will have current experience as a Warehouse Associate and is looking to expand that experience into the fireworks industry. We find that the best Warehouse Associates know how to hit new levels of performance day in and day out. The goal of this role is to help the organization drive strong sales and deliver world-class customer happiness through stocked shelves, organized stockrooms, and accurate order fulfillment.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Driving day-to-day warehouse operations
• Pick orders in a quick and efficient manner that preserves product integrity
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked warehouse
• Monitoring order fulfillment and optimizing the accuracy of performance
• Ensuring that all legal, safety, and health procedures are followed at all times
• Continually improving processes that drive a more efficient warehouse team and operation
• Prepared and ready to assist with any shipment loading and unloading needs prior to needed execution
• Maintain our Warehouse Management systems through routine cycle counts, spot checks, and data inventory entries/removal.
• Identify, recount, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies in inventory before raising the red flag. 
• Process online customer orders as if they were your own with a high level of care and attention to complete fulfillment
• Report damaged shipments to WH Lead/WH Manager and maintain the appropriate logs for data trending and solutions.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50lbs (a requirement for warehouse assistance, restocking, and customer pickup orders) 
• Ability to walk and stand continually throughout the shift (a requirement for stocking shelves, unloading trucks and moving products & helping load customer vehicles)
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs (a requirement of restocking and merchandising the retail store or accessing the product in the warehouse) 
• Work outside during inclement weather (a requirement due to helping customers to their car and or accessing product for retail store restocking) 
• Skilled organizer, time manager, with high attention to the fine details
• Excellent written & presentation skills
• Good analytical skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting and can work independently with little supervision
• Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function
• Previous warehouse experience desired but not required
• Experience with Google Suite
